We had a fairly large table booked in on a Monday night, and the restaurant was fairly quiet.
The service was quick, we had mains, cocktails and desserts and all were good, though perhaps slightly overpriced for the quality, but satisfying none the less.
No two people at our table ordered the same dish, and all were very happy with their meals, the menu boasted a lot of classic pub options.

They were really busy but managed to get us a table for six for an early dinner. Food absolutely loved by all. Everything just great. Ambient surroundings, lovely prompt and professional service and delicious food. Top marks all round
Went in for lunch. Really great food but I felt the bar staff were going though the motions and waiting for their shift to end. Shame as I said the food was very good.
Great food, nice staff, very popular with the locals. Wish the downstairs beer garden was open more often, but obviously not so much at this time of year!
